“Lady Maria Brâncoveanu“ Tulip has conquered Romania

You are invited to discover the beauty of one single flower, the Tulip “Lady Maria Brâncoveanu”, the first and unic tulip from the Netherlands to bear a Romanian name.

The splendor of this Tulip is to be admired in places endowed with faith, history and culture in the Netherlands and in România.

For the first time, our Tulip has flourished at the “Walks of Fame” path in Keukenhof’s garden Park, the most famous in the Netherlands and the world.

The Tulip can be also admired in Botanical Gardens, in the Cotroceni Presidential gardens, in monasteries’, metropolitan palaces’, embassies’ and private gardens in România and elsewhere in Europe.

In our church’s yard the Tulip is paying respect to our “Troita”, the wooden monumental Cross of our Lord.

Our Tulip, in its unique beauty, reminds us, as well, of the unique beauty of the Blessed Maria Brâncoveanu, wife and mother of the five Brancoveanu christian martyrs.

Let us rejoice, then, viewing the video on the blossoming prime of the Tulip Maria Brâncoveanu, in this Resurrection period.

The copyright of this video belongs to the Romanian Orthodox Community “Saint Gregory the Theologian” in the Netherlands, the first Romanian community of this country, and its Women’s Association “Doamna Maria Brâncoveanu”.

Compliments to the council of Administration of the Association Doamna Maria Brâncoveanu and all those who contributed to the realization of the video, with the blessings of father Ioan Dură, Dean of the Netherlands.
